Rewrite the Script. Reclaim the Crown.
Welcome to Crown Work Inc., where agency meets ancestry, and healing becomes action. We’re a nonprofit rooted in the belief that community transformation begins with personal liberation. Through trauma-informed programs, mentoring, civic engagement, and legacy-focused development, we help individuals reclaim what the world told them to bury—their power, their voice, their crown.
Join us in breaking cycles, reducing stigma, and building a future where every person—especially those too often overlooked—can rise
Empowering Change
Transforming Lives Together
Crown Work Inc. is a nonprofit dedicated to advancing human development, reducing stigma, and restoring opportunity in historically marginalized communities. We serve youth, women, and families with culturally grounded programs that promote healing, leadership, and audacity.
Our work is rooted in the concept of KinScripts—the unwritten family roles and expectations passed down across generations. These scripts, while rooted in survival, can also create invisible ceilings. We help people recognize and rewrite those scripts, stepping into lives built from their own agency, not inherited obligation.
We offer mentorship, etiquette and wellness workshops, civic education, and reentry support—all trauma-informed, culturally relevant, and radically empowering. Because the inner work is Crown Work—and we believe everyone deserves the chance to rise with dignity, clarity, and purpose.

Our Founder
Dr. Fatimah Z. Turner is a licensed clinical social worker, educator, and award-winning scholar with a passion for helping people reclaim their lives and rewrite their stories. As a first-generation college graduate, single mother, and community leader, she understands the cost of silence, the pressure of expectations, and the power of being seen.
Dr. Turner’s groundbreaking research on KinScripts—family role assignments and generational expectations—serves as the foundation for Crown Work’s programs. She created this nonprofit as both a mirror and a map: a reflection of the strength in our communities, and a pathway toward lasting transformation.
